Language Levels A1 to C1: understand your progress
Have you taken language courses and still don’t feel confident speaking?
The language levels A1 to C1 help you understand where you stand, what you already master, and what you still need in order to progress effectively.
🌍 Language levels: a path towards autonomy
A1 – First contact
Discover the language, introduce yourself, and get to know others.
Understand and use simple sentences in everyday situations.
A1+ – Building solid foundations
Handle practical situations: shopping, ordering in a restaurant, and finding your way around.
This is where essential foundations are built.
A2 – Structuring communication
Talk about time, describe the past, make choices, and express preferences.
Communication becomes richer, but is still fragile.
A2+ – Towards autonomy
Participate in conversations without constantly relying on your conversation partner.
Express yourself more fluently in a variety of situations.
👉 This is the stage where true autonomy begins.
🔎 Before moving to the next level
Before starting a new level, make sure your foundations from the previous level are solid enough.
Different teachers and programs may have slightly different priorities and learning sequences. There is no need to worry: if necessary, I provide targeted exercises to strengthen your foundations.
🎯 My teaching approach
My goal is not only to help you reach a level.
I always ask: what do you need in order to start the next level successfully and in the best possible conditions?
This approach ensures solid, long-term progress that is truly useful in real-life situations.

Advanced levels
B1 – Professional communication
Express yourself in writing and speaking in professional or specialized contexts (sales, technical fields, services).
B2 – Academic proficiency
Write structured texts, argue ideas, and participate in complex discussions and negotiations.
C1 – Advanced mastery
Understand and produce complex content fluently, with a high degree of precision and confidence.
C2 – A theoretical mastery
C2 is often described as the highest possible level, representing near-complete mastery of a language.
In reality, no speaker — not even a native one — fully masters every aspect of a language. Languages evolve constantly and remain living systems.
For this reason, my approach focuses not on an abstract ideal, but on practical and effective mastery adapted to your real needs.
