Frequently Asked Questions

Here you will find the key answers about our teaching method, the different course formats, and your personal learning progress.

Why do so many people still struggle to speak after months of lessons?

Understanding a language is not enough to speak it.

Many courses focus mainly on vocabulary and a few rules. Learners may complete the exercises successfully, but they have too few opportunities to build their own sentences and respond spontaneously.

Between lessons, they often do not know what to revise or how to make progress independently. Their knowledge therefore remains passive, and the words do not come when they need to speak.

The problem is not you. It is a learning approach that lacks speaking practice, guided repetition, and clear structure.

How can you learn to truly speak a language?

To speak a language, you need to use it actively from the very beginning. During the live lessons, you discover new structures and use them immediately in guided conversations.

You should not only recognise words or complete exercises. You need to learn how to build your own sentences, ask questions, and respond in real-life situations.

That is why every new concept is immediately practised through speaking. Between lessons, guided exercises help you revise, consolidate what you have learned, and prepare for the next stage.

You progress step by step, with a clear structure, until you can communicate more and more independently.

Why learn in a small group?

In a small group, I can monitor your progress more closely, correct your mistakes, and adapt the exercises to the group’s needs.

You also learn by listening to the other participants, while still receiving enough individual support to stay on track.

With a maximum of six participants, the lessons remain lively, personal, and truly interactive.

Why choose individual lessons?

Individual lessons are fully tailored to your level, your goals, and your pace.

You have all the speaking time, can ask your questions immediately, and receive precise, personalised corrections.

The course content can focus on your specific needs: everyday life, work, integration, interview preparation, or particular situations.

Between lessons, you receive guided exercises that directly target what you still need to consolidate.

You make progress with fully personalised support, without wasting time on content that does not match your needs.

How do you know that you are making progress?

Your progress is not based solely on a general impression.

Throughout the course, you regularly reuse the vocabulary and structures you have already learned. Short exercises and practical situations help identify what you have mastered and what still needs to be consolidated.

At the end of the module, you complete an assessment that clearly shows your progress and the next steps in your learning journey.

Is this course right for you?

This course is designed for people who want to start learning Luxembourgish with solid foundations and gradually use it in real-life situations.

It is right for you if you are looking for a structured learning experience, are ready to participate actively during the lessons, and can devote a little time to the exercises between sessions.

No previous knowledge is required. The pace is progressive, and each step prepares you for the next.

Your goal is not simply to attend a course, but to truly start communicating in your new language.
